Save custom sounds in GarageBand for iPad. You can save, rename, and delete your own custom sounds for each Touch Instrument and use them on another track or in another song. Changes saved include settings for Touch Instruments, master effects, plug-ins, and EQ. Presently, the maximum length of a ringtone is 30 seconds. For Andrew’s problem, before importing a song, click the small + icon beneath the setting icon in the top right of GarageBand screen, followed by pop-up small screen Section A; then, adjust the numerical number from 8 to whatever number that is large enough to cover the total length of your song ( 1 numerical number = 2 seconds.

GarageBand does not have a Harpsichord instrument by default. There had been an Orchestra Harpsichord installed by the Jam Pack 1, and Logic added a few Harpsichords.

How did you update to Garageband 10.1.2? Did you uninstall GarageBand '11? If you uninstalled any older GarageBand version before upgrading to GarageBand 10.1.2, you may need to reinstall any JamPack you used, or older instruments from GarageBand '11.

The Harpsichord instruments will be showing in the Legacy section of your Instrument Library, if they are still installed.
